SENATE BILL 299

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 1, line 11, strike "THE SECRETARY OF STATE" and

insert in lieu thereof "A RESIGNING LEGISLATOR".

    2. On page 1, line 12, after "THE", insert "SECRETARY OF STATE

AND TO THE".

    3. On page 1, line 20, strike the subsection designation "A.".

    4. On page 1, line 23, before the comma, insert "and with the

county commissioners of all counties in the district of the vacant

legislative office".

    5. On page 2, strike lines 1 through 3 and strike line 4

through the period.,

and thence referred to the JUDICIARY COMMITTEE.
